Dr. Chrysalis Heinkel graduated from The University of Texas at Austin before attending The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In addition to obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Heinkel completed a one-year advanced general dentistry residency at the university where she obtained her certification in sedation dentistry, including IV sedation.
Dr. Heinkel is committed to continuing education in order to maintain the highest level of dental care that her patients have come to expect. She has obtained advanced training in implant dentistry and third molar extractions. It was important to her to get advanced training so she could work with complex patients beginning to end.
Known for her compassionate approach to her work, Dr. Heinkel loves to help patients overcome their dental anxieties and to rebuild their confidence one tooth at a time. Watching people smile again after completing their dental treatment is the most rewarding part of her job.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Heinkel is pleased to be practicing in her hometown. She and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Harper and Sloane, and two golden retrievers, Reese and Sadie. When not in the office, Dr. Heinkel enjoys traveling with her family, doing yoga, running, and watching college football and the Spurs.

AboutDr. Lindsey Mackaron
Dr. Lindsey Mackaron, also known as “Dr. Mack”, obtained her dental degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2011, after obtaining her bachelors in science at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Mackaron graduated Magna Cum Laude from dental school and was elected into the National Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Mackaron is passionate about continuing her education and completes an abundance of advanced dental courses every year to provide the best research based care for her patients. She believes in treating all of her patients like family and delivering the best level of care for everyone she treats. She has over ten years of experience working in private practice and community health, where she helped those in need and served as adjunct faculty for UT Health dental school. She has a passion for working with children and identifying conditions at an early age that can be life changing. Practicing always with a smile under her mask, she hopes that everyone she works on will leave healthier and happier.
Dr. Mackaron and her husband Russ have two boys, Luke and Zach, and two dogs, Izzy and Callie. In her time away from work, Dr. Mackaron enjoys being with her large family, cooking and volunteering.
